ABOUT ME:
I’m Rachel Pedersen.
I’m a Social Media Strategist and TikTok Expert. I help busy people with big dreams to build THRIVING businesses WITHOUT sacrificing their family, friends or their sanity.
AKA — If you’re a business owner looking to grow or someone looking to become a social media manager, you’re in the right place.
As a wife and mom of 3 kids, I don’t have time for fluff, boring strategies or pretending to be anything but myself.
I specialize in combining social media tactics with sustainable, long-term strategies to build profitable businesses that actually create an impact.
Not too long ago, I was a single mom on welfare and food stamps. We even had our heat shut off one year at Christmas.
So I did what any scrappy person would. I pulled myself up by the bootstraps and got to work!
Today our businesses are thriving, I speak on stages around the world, and we’ve had the privilege of seeing MILLIONS of lives impacted directly by our work.
I’ll keep this short and sweet, just like me (and maybe a little bit spicy) — but if you like what you see so far, subscribe to my channel so you don’t miss any of the gold coming your way.

I don't agree with few of ur points. There is nothing wrong telling the audience you are Nervous, you are simply being human
I’m 11 years old saying a speech in my assembly😢😅😅
I am shy
My warm honey water is ready. I have my Fisherman's Friend, a working mic, what could possibly be about to happen, and on a full moon too?
I love public speaking and singing, which is just a more entertaining version of public speaking. My tips are, it's ok to be nervous. Just remember, even going out there is a win.
If you have a big crowd, over 1,000 people, the stage lights will not let you see people clearly. Instead, look at a wall or a fixed point in the back of the venue. Then everyone thinks you are looking at them.
Something I learned from Mike of Venom, if you can't see well, tape of a bright color on stage can save you from falling off . Don't eat onions, put on an adult undergarment and stand far from the PA. Then, just enjoy the vibe!
My strategy is just kinda do it without being fully aware of what you’re actually doing
I have a speech to do in front of my entire school which is about 2,500 people 😅😅 pray for me🙏
# 4, unless your my friend and just tell the audience, “I’m so nervous I’m about to dance right out of my shoes!” Made everyone laugh, nobody forgot it, and it was relatable.
I have 30 batchmates and im the only one who shake like a dying fish everytime.its awful 🙁
Practice regularly to build confidence.
To be honest, some times when I feel extremely nervous, I just tell them I'm nervous and it helps a lot to get through that of being nervous and I start to hold my pieces together and hang on or even move on with more confidence❤ That's my experience, but last time I just went to the stage and I wasn't nervous just a bit, so I started to normalize and I was happy really excited and energetic❤❤❤ Just be authentic do it over and over again and it'll be ok❤
One time I almost had a breakdown at the beginning of my speech and the only thing that kept me going was being authentic and telling them, “I am petrified right now,” and moving forward with that fact.
💩
A serious expression on the face means they are concentrating deeply on what you are saying.
So admire them all❤😊
She stole Jerry Seinfelds bit from the 90's 😂
This video was worthless
Just act like you're confident cause no one knows that you are….and this is the biggest motivation for public speaking I can really give
There are two things that made me a better public speaker. 1)practice 2)being an expert on the subject matter
This was great❤
Thanks
Thank you
😮
She started out by stating 77% of people are terrified of public speaking. That means the majority of people in the audience can relate. So being honest about feeling nervous could actually grab attention and respect for being Authentic and relatable. This could potentially set the tone for more trust in what is about to be shared especially when someone is showing up as they really are . Feeling pressure that it’s not ok to feel nervous or that you have to hide that is what feeds the anxiety. Anyone who feels fear about speaking in front of other and does it anyway is honorable and inspiring. Especially when they are not afraid to admit it!
Superb Rachel, you’ve made my day. Excellent piece!
